RELATIONSHIP WITH BARCLAYS CONTINUES TO GROW - 27/08/2010

Thanks to the hard work, quality and effort shown by the Withey team over the past 12 months, Barclays have awarded us a further 11 branches to complete between January - April 2011 With locations including Northampton Wellingborough Road, Peterborough, Rushden, March and Market Deeping to name a few, the return from the Christmas break is set to be a busy one for the project managers and their fixing teams. |

Well done to our Crawley office and to D&A Lovell for the outstanding works demonstrated at World Duty Free - John Lennon Airport Liverpool. Taking just over 9 weeks to complete, works included the complete refurbishment of the shell including flooring, decoration, full mechanical and electrical installations and formation of wall bays before stand-alone joinery and display units were put into place. Praise the project attracted from both the client and airport management team speaks volumes for the high quality of workmanship and management shown by the team, we look forward to working with both Liverpool Airport and World Duty Free in the near future. |
PERFECT DELIVERY - 20/07/2010

Deane and Amos have received a 'Perfect Delivery' certificate from Morgan Sindall for our works at the recently completed Costessey Sports Pavilion in Norwich. Responsible for the curtain walling and entrance works, the certificate was issued to recognise us meeting four key objectives which Morgan Sindall refer to as cornerstones: We are now well established on Morgan Sindall's supply chain and are currently working on new opportunities with them. |

Due to the success of current works at Newbury Parkway on behalf of Costain, D&A Aluminium Systems have now also secured the order for phase 2. Valued at £1.5m, phase 2 works include the manufacture and installation of Metal Technology windows and curtain walling to a combination of residential and commercial units. The aim of this development is to create a high quality setting for contemporary fashion and cosmopolitan eating blending modern architecture into the surrounding historic heritage already in place at Newbury. Works are expected to complete March 2011, with the development being unveilled to the public June 2011. |

Back in January, we told you how excited D&A Withey were with the success of securing their first project with Next Retail - two months on and we are pleased to tell you our first sports and shoe department at Croydon and subsequently our second fit out at Becton went extremely well. Both stores received new flooring, decoration, ceiling & M&E works before standalone joinery and display units were installed. Based on our performance at the above stores, we are now busy pricing other projects for Next including Banbury, Limerick & Epsom, Surrey. |

On 24th March 2010, employees from D&A Shopfitting alongwith other contractors joined members of Barclays Bank delivery team at Leonard Cheshire Disability Care Home in Banbury. Working together they helped to manufacture and install a number of raised flowerbeds and additional water butts for local residents at the care home. All residents are physically disabled and wheelchair bound however they are an inspiration to us all as they drive to achieve more around the home. With the installation of these new raised flowerbeds, residents are now able to grow their own herbs, vegetables, shrubs and flowers and to enjoy gardening once again. |
FSC SYSTEM COMMENTED AS "COMMENDABLE" - 31/03/2010

BM Trada carried out our 7th FSC audit this month and we are pleased to inform you we have received acceditation for a further year with the auditor commenting that our system was "commendable" FSC (Forestry Stewardship Council) ensures that we only purchase timbers from sources with sustainable programmes in place, thus protecting our world for the future. As part of the new FSC standards going forward we will now be able to demonstrate the percentage of FSC sheet & timber products we purchase in comparison to non FSC materials and a that used in our products. |

We are delighted to announce the appointment of a Group Sales & Marketing Director. On 6th April 2010, Adrian Hughs will be joining Deane & Amos Group, working closely with our Group Managing Directors and senior management teams to devise sales strategies and to co-ordinate opportunities acorss the Group. This is an exciting opportunity for us and with our existing sales efforts we will now be able to maximise the opportunities currently available. |

Working alongside Giddings Design, D&A Shopfitting have recently handed over a 24ct project on behalf of Domino Jewellery in Birmingham. The new unit received flooring, decoration and ceiling alterations before new lighting was installed by D&A Lovell to create a multicoloured feature wall within the store. Black high gloss units with glass casings were manufactured in house and installed before merchandising was completed by the client. Feedback received has been positive and we look forward to working with both Giddings Design and Domino Jewellery again soon. |

WORK WITH WILLMOTT DIXON CONTINUES... - 09/07/2009

As a result of the quality and effort being show at Hertfordshire University, Willmott Dixon has awarded D&A Shopfitting an order to carry out the manufacture and installation of all joinery works as Aylesbury Theatre. This £27million development will see a new 1200 seat threatre and multi-entertainment centre built as part of the councils ambitious scheme to re-develop the town centre. Works are expected to commence in Autumn 2009 ready for its unveiling in March 2010. |

Steve Hemphill has been appointed as the new Managing Director of D&A Streets. Steve was a Director of D&A Streets several years ago, but for the past few years has been successfully running his own business. BUREAU DE CHANGE UNITS NOW COMPLETE - 22/12/2008

D&A Shopfitting are pleased to announce that all 4nr Bureau de Change units on behalf of The Change Group have been successfully handed over. The units both landside and airside within Luton Airport, all received complete refurbishment works including new floor finishes, decoration, ceilings and M&E as well as the manufacture and installation of new counters and joinery. RELATIONSHIP WITH WILLMOTT DIXON CONTINUES - 25/11/2008

D&A Aluminium Systems have been working with Willmott Dixon for the past couple of years and we are delighted that D&A Shopfitting's recent approach to this established contractor has paid off as we have secured a £260K fit-out project at Hertfordshire University. This project will see the installation of new nightclub, bars and lounge areas for the students at the University and provides a large amount of joinery for our factory when we return from the Christmas shutdown.

Following D&A Shopfitting's recent annual audit with BM Trada, we are pleased to confirm that we have passed our FSC audit with flying colours. Since October 2003, we have successfully managed our internal FSC processes and procedures ensuring protected or endangered material are not used under any circumstance in any of our projects. It was commented that our system was one of the best the auditor had ever witnessed, a very pleasing result and one we will maintain going forward. |
RELATIONSHIP WITH SAINSBURY'S CONTINUES TO GROW - 09/10/2008

Our relationship with Sainsbury's continues to grow after recently securing projects at both Chichester and Coventry. Commencing works at the end of the month, Chichester involves the manufacture and installation of curtain walling and new glazing to the front of this existing store. Works are also scheduled to commence last week of October at Sainsbury's new warehouse in Coventry. D&A Aluminium Systems will be involved in the manufacture and installation of curtain walling, aluminium windows, entrance doors and finally a new reception area.

Deane & Amos Shopfitting are thrilled to learn 1st year apprentice Michael Rutter was announced as Apprentice of the Year after attending the National Association of Shopfitters Apprentices Competition on 3rd Sept 2008. Michael was presented the John Rabey Award at this prestige event in London for his committment to the scheme and his passion for carpentry and joinery. Along with the award, Michael was also given a certificate and cheque for £500. Luke Rideout who was also nominated for the award received a new drill and runners up congratulations certificate - Well done to you both |
T3 PIER 7 SEGREGATION HANDED OVER - 01/08/2008

After 7 intense weeks we are delighted to have achieved the successful completion of the segregation area within Pier 7 at Heathrow Terminal 3, meeting a tight deadline set by BAA and CAA. The combined efforts of both Deane & Amos Shopfitting and STREETS have ensured a highly successful outcome with both the Main Contractor Morgan Ashurst and BAA delighted with the end result. We now look forward to working alongside them both on similiar projects in the very near future |

Deane & Amos Aluminium Systems have recently secured partnership status with Sainsbury’s for the provision of ground floor window and door treatments on their stores. We will be working on projects throughout the UK designing, manufacturing and installing shopfronts and entrances on both new and refurbishment projects. It is anticipated that the value of the works will be in the region of £1 million per year and are very excited about this new venture. |
